Gotta say, I'm a big fan of this tune. The buildup, as always with Fusebox tracks, is delicious. Slow, kinetic, teasing, it pulls you in almost immediately with the great interplay between the eerie pad and sci-fi arpeggiated synth lines.

The breakdown is timed perfectly, and when that big crunchy bassline rears its head, the hairs on the back of my neck stood up in terrified unison. The drop ... More itself is massive; simple in structure, but explosive when it hits. The track does threaten to tail off shortly after that though, until the 3:40 mark when the bassline injects another boost of energy. It's much needed by this point, though I feel the 40 seconds immediately after the 3 minute mark should have happened later, like just prior to the second breakdown.

Speaking of the second breakdown, the programming of this is top notch; I would say even superior to the first drop, which is satisfying but predictable. The wind-down is predictable but that's not exactly a bad thing. The timing of everything is spot on; structurally it's almost perfect apart from that 40 second lull after the 3 minute mark.

I can't be 100% objective about this as my listening equipment isn't great, but it does feel to me like there's a bit too much high-end going on in the mix, especially if you play it side by side with other similar tunes. But, this has always been a bit of an issue with Fusebox's tracks, and if they were addressed he would be one of the scene's top, top musicians, still, even after all these years.

Definately a good track. I've always been a sucker for breaks and this track has that solid sound of funk to it that only a sampled drum bit can give. The arp synth also feels really good and lifts the mood nicely before the drop.

The mixdown is well-executed, but the arrangement goes a bit over the top when everything plays together: arp, pad, breaks, and the mid-rich bass. It really sneaks ... More between the fine lines of heavy and too busy, but I'm leaning more on the heavy part. The bass and synths are on their own very good, but the bassline doesn't really complement the arp melody, they feel very separate to each other when playing together.

This track would fit in nicely in an oldschool break-filled set as well as a little change of mood to a more modern, heavy dancefloor mix.

Didn't know quite what to expect but was drawn in by that airy arp and the solidl drum track.The drums sound a bit quantised (forgive me if i'm wrong), I'd like them to feel a bit looser and the ghost hits a little quieter
The rap vocals come out of nowhere but fit the track, fusebox should have made more use of them imo. I'm liking the juxtaposition of the bass and the arp together. It's also ... More good to hear the bloke's made the effort to write a different 2nd drop which is better than the first, the change to the arp arrangement works well.

At over 7:30 minutes, I think this track is longer than it needs to be but it holds interest due to the clever arrangement. I agree with Ben and Marc that the mix is a bit too bright on this track which is a shame as it's otherwise bang on the money

again nice production , but this just reminds me of the john b tune "sight unseen"...its almost so blatant.

again this gets a 3 from me...not based on your meanings tho...its based on that the track is pretty well produced, but has no potential at all i am afraid. the only thing that has potential is the producer who needs to come with something that sounds fresh!
just because a tune utilises ... More old skool sounding breaks or samples or format, doesnt mean it has to sound old skool or just like a blatant rip or mish mash of older tunes.
i look forward to hearing something from fusebox that has some freshness :-)

The tune is ok.  I feel like the mix is fairly crowded and some elements could be turned down or eq'ed better.  The space-age-ish theme isn't my thing but as mentioned, it has an audience.  I really like the 808 sub bass stabs, they're probably my favorite aspect of the tune.  It definitely sounds a bit dated, like it was made in 2003. Not a bad thing at all tbh, it just puts it on a timeline. ... More  

Nice intro, I get the snowflake vibe deffo. Drums feel a bit rushed though. Liking the dropout and changeup much better. Would like to hear this on a big system. Seems to go on a bit too long for me though. Not too keen on the vocal either. It does need something, but I'm not sure that bloke is it. Ends well.
