80 Now this is a no-nonsense dancefloor pleaser. As usual from Ben Kama, the production standard is very high, which is more essential in a track like this than it might be otherwise. The basic premise is very simple, which is a good or bad thing depending on your point of view. The simple one-note bassline is always effective but it's been done so often that the track needs to work harder around ... More the edges in order to stand out properly. That extra flair is given here by the programming, which is varied enough to keep things always interesting and entertaining. It builds, shifts and drops in very pleasing fashion that would absolutely have any dancefloor moving.
The thing is that the various parts of this track all seem extremely familiar, from the sounds used to the melodic structure to the little fills that add the character. They all feel borrowed from various other drum and bass releases over the yeas and while they are assembled extremely well, the sum of this track's parts just doesn't add up to anything new. Still, new isn't always the most important thing and this is a very accomplished tune that I would be more than happy to hear in a club. It would need an extra flourish of originality to hit the 10 score, but it's still a well deserved 8.Nobody has rated this review yet. |

90 Really nice track, the bassline is amazing. Nice sounds on background. I just didn't like the buildup from 2:30 - 2:43. It is too distractive and it's high end was a pain. Nobody has rated this review yet. |

70 really liking the vibe on this, really dark dancefloor smasher! i love the drums tempo descent before breakdown, i like this in lot of tracks so i like it also in your track, its really pleasant change :) but i am afraifd that i am not a big fan of the mid-bass sound, and drums, they sounds so "basic", i would expect more rolling drums, but its still good, maybe just matter of opinion! cheers! 60 Dark mid basslines is what I like. Maybe a bit too straightforward approach for my taste, but I liked the beat modulation really much. Nice touch in there. I would add more sub and maybe something to make it stand out a bit. Not bad at all. This review is unhelpful (-1 from 1 person) |

90 oh yeah, 2:08 is like OH SNAP! Those beats are no-nonsense dancefloor killers, super pumpy with nice chunky hats and a deep snare that rounds out around the bass. Speaking of the bass, great mix with that distorted synth, everything sits super nice. Great arrangement and killer production quality. Nobody has rated this review yet. |

90 Like everyone says, this is serious dancefloor material. Keeping the bass pumping the offbeats moves it along while keeping the sound clean and open. Sound fx are not groundbreaking but they are well thought out. The bassline changes just enough to keep it interesting while keeping the focus firmly on the main beat. The drums are punchy sounding and build well across the track to the ... More breakdown.
Which was always gonna be controversial. Every track benefits from a wtf moment. But those moments are easy to overdo. For me, halftime is not too offensive. It makes a nice change from the usual dropping everything out that has been done to death over the years. I especially like the shuffle feel that leads into it. You know something is gonna happen, but the change still comes as a surprise. Overall its a good mix of the familiar and some innovative ideas. I got no idea what I'll be listening to in 10 years time but this gets a well deserved 9.Nobody has rated this review yet. |

80 This is quality tunage. It's all very well put together, the mix is good and there is a lot of cool edits. I would have loved the bass to be a bit more melodic, at least for a section of the track, but apart from that I don't have much criticism. You have those modern fat drums (which get wicked rolling once the sandy break or whatever it is comes in), sizzling fx, a well executed down-tempo ... More section which got me smiling, a nice transition back into dnb tempo...very professional and bound to blow up the place!Nobody has rated this review yet. |

70 some nice touches but not enough to make it extra special imo production quality as always is very good. the bass is good, but wears thin quite quickly because its so naked. theres not much else going on with it. some additional dark atmospherics / pads / fx would have given the tune some character, and made it it more memorable. listen to 96 Baracade by Dub-one or Imagination by Dom & Roland.... ... More those are perfect examples of what i'm babbling on about... they have the dirtbag bass, but also have so much character because of pads, and atmospherics.... which is something your tunes normally have in spades.
sorry i'm rambling, as it is the tune would destroy a dancefloor, so fair play man.

70 cool ideas here synth is nice but its a little bit repeative maybe adding some other elements will make it better the beat is to soft imo its like the kick needs more low freq the sub is down pitched and cant hear it good but yeah good work This review cannot be rated. |

90 This is a classic tune from Ben Kama, I would love to hear this played out as it just makes you want to move. It's simple but so effective and the production skills are just top notch, this would have any dancefloor rocking and next time I play out I will deffo be playing this tune! Keep up the great work man! Peace Nobody has rated this review yet. |

90 My favorite track of Ben Kama. It's stupid, foul smelling and doesn't care about it even slightest. Nice groove on the beats. Bass stab is really minimal but still banging. I thought it couldn't get any meaner after triplet fill, but then in comes the electrohousy breakdown, nasty :D Nobody has rated this review yet. |

90 This is hot! Love it. It's not terribly complex, but a track like this doesn't need to be, although in full 5-6 minute album release form it might get boring towards the end. What it lacks in movement it makes up for in attitude. The breakdown at 2:04 is killer, btw. Nobody has rated this review yet. |

60 the drums and the monotonic and repetitive bassline make it not my cuppa tea. The breakdown was nice, but still 6/10. the production was good ,but composition and the drums left me cold Nobody has rated this review yet. |

60 The production is correct. I like the triplet part and the breakdown. But I don't like this offbeat bassline, repetitive and basic. The track is pretty empty but it could be great with a good work on sound design (fat bass, rollin edit, pad / fx ...) and on the structure (not just on pattern and a breakdown). All your track is based on this bassline and it's play straight from the intro : no ... More surprise. You can take your time and work on a proper intro, try to create tension and release in the tune.

90 this has teh kind of balls that i wish other people would have on their productions.. going from one genre to the next, i love the repetitive offbeat bassline on the 3rd...pricelss...almost like the kind of buildup you would find on a tool record. loving this track...becase its not free i will not be giving it a 10. but otherwise i would hahaha, the sound quality is fantastic. brilliant track.
