Review of: Egypt (final bassfix)

Wow nice theme, i guess i should have expected this from the title!

Huge use of LFO Modulation! Which is cool.

Track is slightly hollow, maybe use some more layers, to gel the track.

Outro was a good switch too, unexpected.

I actually enjoyed listening to this track, i predict great things from you man!

Review of: Zenith-Somesanity

It sounds like an attempt to mix some quite different styles together.  And by the end I think it pretty much gets there.  Reece and piano sitting very nicely.  I quite like the way the breakdown progresses as well.  But the first half sounds like parts of 2 different songs tacked end to end.  Carrying some ideas over from the intro into the wobble section would probably help them to sit together ... More better.  Likewise, some subtle wobble ideas in the intro would help it build and give it more direction.  

Biggest criticism: the wobble and yoy sound a bit generic.  I think you are letting them carry too much of the song.  Reece is nice tho.

Review of: Egypt (final bassfix)

Love the eastern thing. Intro was the best thing in this song for me.  Maybe some effect to that stringed instrument in the beginning. Then the drums. Way to low on volume.. Eq the snare/clap a lot to be more punchy. Nice bass selections, but they are too high on volume because of the aforementioned low levels of the drum track. More variation to the wobbles also. I think this song also needs ... More some extra special stuff.. Maybe some eastern microinterval stuff on melody... who knows. You captured the eastern feeling well on this track. Outro was interesting too. Keep up good man!
