Review of: Death Is Whimsical

I can agree with Tip on the snare. It need more in your face punch to it. It almost seems to mix with the cymbals making it not as present. I love the synth and basslines though. I like using clips and samples myself, but sometimes feel like it's overdone. Even in my own work, haha. Depending on the clip it almost takes away from the track. Maybe take out a sample and replace it with a nice bass ... More fill.

I love the synth / organs, they are immense, the bassline is decent but i think it could be chnaged slightly to compliment the synth a bit more as sometimes it feels / sounds a little rushed. Or the synth seems a little rushed to match the bassline, one of them. :P

Not sure if it is just my speakers but it could do with a bit more sub bass, it sounds like the bass is trying to break out but cant ... More quite make it.

Im not sure if there was meant to be a heavey drop or just straight into the tune, so I am not taking that into consideration for the score but if you had a heavier drop after the 'Every One'  sample it would of been immense.

Its a well made track and with a few improvements it could be amazing.

Review of: Calmer Than You Are

nice, i diggz on the IDM ish and then you top it off w/ some renegade snares...yeah, i'll co'sign on dat...an den you get all nutty as a band of nihilist bruthaz on'em...i love the originality of this one...like a finger print.  the only thing i would say on this one is that it felt a bit, for lack of a better term because i do like this one, 1 dimensional.  i'm not sure if it's because that main ... More synth goes all the way through w/ out changing or there being a major sound clash widdit.  love the erratic drum patternz.  it's all sound scapes for bumps & scrapes...love the way it comes in...sample and all.  filtered...but yeah, well, you know, that's just like, my openion man...
