Review of: Angel - Sphinx (Garageband Dubstep/Chillstep)

The chilled out feel of the guitar sounds good in the intro and quite an interesting intro. It it quite long like Darj said. I usually have mine about a minute long. The synth doesn't bother me though. I think it fits ok and I quite like that sound.  I wouldn't have gone onto 4x4 with the track but it doesn't sound to bad though.  Pretty good and interesting track all round :-)

Long intro, good ideas on it, such as these distorted guitars.

The drop is perfect, and you using these YOY synth that I hate. I doesn't stick with the whole track ambiance. If you looking to make some more chilled stuff, make another use of synth. Your drums too don't really fit with something chill. It sounds like these crappy revenge drums.

The mixdown is good, but not perfect. The track ... More seems a bit messy, your starting with long intro and a chill part, and then you turn on 4x4.

One thing is sure, you can do much better. You have the potential to go further on your tracks. IMO, you started with an idea, and then you've completly changed. Of course, thats a kind of progression, but not that's not the good way to do :p
