Biography

Ok, so I'm a standard 19 year old from Bristol, UK. I started making music when I was 16, as a hobby.

Technically it's still a hobby because I haven't made one penny from it so far, yay! I'm currently studying Music Production Level 3 at college, and I fail to think of anything it's taught that I didn't know already.

I'm currently 3/4 of the way through finishing my first ever EP, 'The First of Many', wooo! I'll be available as a free download unless I happen to get it signed, which is looking increasingly unlikely due to my work rate and bad run of luck..

Rodriguez22nd January 2012     70 Review of: Snarla - High Freq. There is a lot of potential in this tune. The mid sounds are promising and original. The structure and format is down for what you would expect from this track. However this is seriously lacking in polish. The basics are down but it is lacking in a lot of production quality. The high end sounds dull. The drums lack punch. The mid sounds could be warmer. There is no air on any of the incidental ... More samples or the pads. The ideas are incredibly strong but the frequencies are off enough to make this hard to listen to, which is sad. Keep it up! This review is helpful (+1 from 1 person)

The track has some great ideas as far as sounds design and melody/arrangement are concerned (some of the hooks remind me a littel of The Prodigy),  but the mixing/mastering lets it down. It lacks that extra bit of polish and just sounds a bit dull. With a bit more detail in the high end this could be a great track and i would definitely play it out. A solid ... More 7 from me.
