Biography
He is 24 years old, an exploratory tech-head, an ex-gamer and a die-hard audiophile; meaning he owns more terabytes of 320kbps-or-better music than you can shake a stick at. With no musical or technical training other than a single guitar lesson at age 15, he is completely autodidactal.
He's currently working on polishing his live performance (no turntables - purely MIDI instruments), and he'll be in the studio with an amazing group of instrumentalists working on an original collaboration album soon.

75 Very nice. The only this that is putting me off is the hi hat. It needs to be further back in the mix and some EQ. The pop sound on top of the clap could be used more sparingly for effect (like when it reverbs out) and the clap turned up. The atmosphere is perfect, the edits are great and the sounds come from the time I love when dubstep was just splitting from garage. Minor production work would ... More tie this all together.Nobody has rated this review yet. |

65 Wow, 8 and a half minutes, fair play! But man, is this nice. Not usually my dubstep cup of tea, but this is good I think. I haven't got my surround system working so I'm going by my laptop speakers, so don't expect any major production advice haha. The bass seems tight enough, the snare fits in well for this style of music, sounds like an 808 snare or something haha. The contrapuntal melody on ... More top becomes a bit confusing at times to be honest, but it's not a big deal. When the melody at 6.20 takes away from the minimal feel I think, I don't think it does the track justice. I reckon you could get away with scrapping it to be honest and just leaving the bass and percussion to take the listener on the journey. You've got those swooshing basses down to a T though man, nice work on those. Overall, solid track :)Nobody has rated this review yet. |
