Review of: Deftones - Be Quiet and Drive (Just the tiP dubstep Remix) remastered + FREE 320!

Just my preference but could maybe use a little more presence at the beginning.  Like the general groove of the intro.

I would reduce the low mids of the bass a bit and maybe add some mild distortion to give it a bit more grit.

Nice idea for a track though, always good to hear something different.

Review of: Pet Peeve

I got a really 80s vibe during the intro - that overtly synthetic pad and your drums do give off a really 80s feel. Snare more than anything, I think. Not a bad thing by any means, tho!

Thermal's right, though - it is pretty much just bass and drums at the mo, although there are some really good parts. The second breakdown from around 2mins in has some lovely sounds in there, but...Well, it ... More suffers from lack of any constant rhythm to tie it together, like hats or cymbals, or whatever. I think without a constant rhythm for the listener to 'hook' onto, the kick and snare sound a bit lost and almost random at times. Given some rhythmical context and that wouldn't be the case, I'm sure.

Really like the sounds, though, but it's quite far off being a 'finished' tune. It sounds more like an exposé for a cool synth tone you came up with than a tune... Sorry!
