70 Love the warping bass. Nice use of space in the line. Vocals add a nice texture, but it would be nice to have more of a melody there. I agree that the drums sound a bit plasticy, some rougher hits mixed in or more top end might help. Nice work. Nobody has rated this review yet. |

80 Gorgeous intro - loving those really deep but subtle sub hits every now and again. Nice way to introduce your drums, too - that half-time feel really brings it up, but not too much that the drop isn't surprising. Your mix has got a really 'plastic-y' feel, but to me that's no bad thing - it's clean, tight, crisp; everything has its own place. Personally, I'd bring the snare up a little, or give it ... More a tad bit more high-end, but that's probs just my speakers or ears being shit.
I really like the way this track flows - I'd find it hard to keep this 'held back' feel to it (I think I'm scared of space ;)), but you've done an awesome job. Drums are really well programmed; and that bass. Lush.
