Review of: u got me

Nice tidy flow to this track & overall solid production. I like the beats, especially the halftime breakdowns. The beat patterns are hardly groundbreaking but they fit the mood perfectly.

I feel the vocal is slightly overdone used (though very trance inducing;) or could do with having a little more variation...possibly adding layers with subtle fx processing or something to give the track more ... More progression.

This has the right ingredients to be a great track but it's lacking in a bit of invention to really give it that extra edge. The beats are nice but are bog-standard garage in terms of both programming and sample choice; some more variation would have helped. The vocals are nicely handled though again I felt you were holding back with them when there was really an opportunity to do some ... More interesting things with the processing. The underlying bassline is simplistic but functional, but the simplicity is not matched by much of interest going on elsewhere in the track (some little flourishes of a synth line here and there, or something, anything).

End result is that it's enjoyable while it lasts, but doesn't leave me rushing to hit the replay button. Solid but not brilliant.

Review of: u got me

Instant garage feel to this one, beginning breakdown before the drop felt slightly out of place. Also approaching the 126 mark getting slighly repetitive, then the vocal sample repeats slighly faster.

Not feeling this one 100%, the overall sound is nice don't get me wrong, just i feel; it lacks a spark of energy and excitment, maybe try some variation possibly in the form of effects.

Solid work ... More though!
