KitSounds KSDJ DJ Headphones

Equipment reviews  27th February 2011 | 1,720 views    Comments (4)
Every DJ needs a good pair of cans that they can rely on for years of use. They'll come in handy for just about every situation eventually; whether it be for DJing at a club or using them to reference tracks in the studio, or even for simple casual listening. The Kitsounds KSDJ Headphones satisfy all of those requirements and do so without breaking the bank.

The most important feature of headphones is the sound quality and the KSDJs don't disappoint. They are loud, clear, and separate frequencies accurately. This is specifically helpful when coming to a club with a dodgy monitoring set-up that ultimately puts more pressure on the headphones to be that much more accurate.

The next feature that most DJs and producers look for is durability and from my road tested experience these headphones will definitely last for a very long time. They have the same deceiving stress points as other similar headphones but, rest assured, they are constructed better than those similar looking models that cost nearly twice as much.

Last but not least is the actual look of the headphones. They are black and inconspicuous which is, quite frankly, what I prefer.  Headphones shouldn't look better than the sound they reproduce since sound quality is unarguably the most important feature of the product.

Overall I think this is a no-brainer purchase and should be on the top of the list for any DJ, producer or even casual listener who wants to upgrade their headphones.

Sound quality: 9/10
